Our stated aim has always been to provide a product range that is sensibly priced and well engineered, specifically for the Commercial Vehicle and 4WD market.
LODAR can be mounted almost anywhere on the vehicle as there are no external aerial to worry about - extra wiring is unnecessary. It has a powerful Receiver that even accepts signals under the chassis, although we would suggest that you position the Receiver in a more sensible place for the best possible reception. There are only four wires to connect the 2 Function Receiver; ground, supply, solenoid in and solenoid out. What could be simpler? The Multi-Function systems are just an extension of this design, with pairs of wires for each extra set of solenoids. The Receiver also works with both 12 and 24 volt supplies so there is only one model to think about. The Transmitter has an internal aerial, with large buttons that are easy to locate as well as Reset and Stop buttons, a feature on all models.
Essential Safety
Requirements (ESR). The new Lodar 9200 has been
designed to comply with all relevant Safety and
Machinery Standards. Lodar uses "watchdog" circuits,
which will automatically remove power from all the
output stages in the event of a malfunction.
We
have been manufacturing LODAR for 20 years and have
built up a reputation for commercial quality and
reliability. LODAR incorporates all the latest
technology and has a full 2 year warranty.
All LODAR products carry a 2 year warranty. We will replace free of charge both Transmitter and Receiver, without question, during this period, unless there has been definite mistreatment of the product.
When there is a problem we do our best to talk directly to the customer, language permitting. We make extensive use of telephone, fax and Emails to deal with any problems and use courier services to supply replacements where necessary. We live in a world of fast communication and we use it to the best of our ability.
